Blitz Games had become an extremely well-respected developer of family-friendly mass-market games, but as new consoles were released, this held the company back from the latest hardware and game development contracts. This in turn had impact on recruitment and retaining great talent.

 

Volatile Games was established to counter this and produced more mature games, but still using the same great talent, technology and methodologies.
